Juvenile Court News: October 7, 2017

Following, failure to pay child support and failure to report proof of seeking work, contempt. Hearing August 16, 2017. Found in willful contempt of motion in support contempt and for lump sum judgment and jail sentence imposed: Stephanie Zent, 30 days; Joshua Meekins, 30 days and Brandon Skaggs, 90 days.

Kenton man sent to prison for 28 months

A Kenton man was sentenced to a total of 28 months in prison after a Hardin County Common Pleas Court jury found him guilty of drug charges According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, Matthew Jarvis Beltz, 723 W. Lima St., Lot 47, was charged with one charge of possession of heroin and, in a second case, a single count of possession of heroin with a specific finding that the amount of heroin possessed was ten unit doses or more.

Kenton man given two years in prison

A Kenton man was sent to prison for two years after he was found guilty of intimidation in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, Thomas G. Wolfenbarger, 808 N. Main St., Kenton, pleaded guilty to one charge each of intimidation, domestic violence and criminal damaging or endangering.
