A Kenton woman was sentenced to five years of community control after pleading guilty to three felonies, including two drug-related charges, in recent action in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

Eric Matthews Sowers, Sycamore – speeding 46 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $25.

Hardin County Recorder Brenda Rainsburg has released the following property transfers for May:

Rhonda Kelli Kugel, 312 S. Henry St., Kenton – speeding 51 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $25. Fined $15 for speeding 65 mph in a 55 mph zone were: Jeremy Riley, 321 E. Marion St., Mount Victory and H. Keith Seckel, Caledonia.

The Hardin County Crime Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence in the 500 block of E. Franklin St., Kenton, late Monday. The search resulted in the seizure of heroin, suspected crack cocaine, prescription drugs, drug paraphernalia and $250 cash, said Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Dennis Burns.

Fined $30 for seat belt violations were: Daniel J. Stahler, 10917 CR200, Kenton; Shannon R. Miller, 311 N. Patterson St., Forest; Dustin Tyler Diller, Elida; Chelsie L. Fout, 20975 CR240, Mount Victory and Billy J. Brown, 725 Morningside Drive, Kenton.

A Kenton man was sent to prison for 11 months in a recent case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, Michael K. Mullins, 702 S. Wayne St., Kenton, pleaded guilty to one charge of theft.

Marvin Brown, Harrod – speeding 50 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $25. Cynthia L. Harder, 3892 TR 185, Forest – speeding 57 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $35.

A Kenton man was placed on community control for five years after he pleaded guilty to drug charges in two cases heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, John. D. Shiver, 703 S. Wayne St., was found guilty to once count each of trafficking in marijuana, possession of heroin and aggravated possession of drugs.
