Acting on information developed by a narcotics investigation, the Hardin County Crime Task Force served a search warrant at 705 E. Franklin St., Kenton at 4 p.m. Wednesday. Heroin, marijuana, prescription pills and cash were seized.

A Kenton man was sentenced to nearly five years in prison after he pleaded guilty to causing the death of another man by selling him heroin. According to Hardin County Common Pleas Court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, Dale Joe Treen, 823 Lick St., Kenton, was charged with involuntary manslaughter and permitting drug abuse.

Rafael A. Renteria, 18122 Ohio 53, Forest – speeding 45 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $15.

A Dunkirk man was sent to jail for 180 days after pleading guilty to charges including vehicular assault in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

The Hardin County Recorder's Office reported the following transactions for July:

Brenda Lou Mitchell, 203 N. Campbell St., Apt. A, Forest, speeding 51 mph in 35 mph zone, fined $25; driving under suspension, fined $150. Jacob Ryan Manns, 436 S. Wayne St., Kenton, speeding 54 mph in 35 mph zone, fined $25.

A DeGraff man was sentenced to a total of four years in prison for theft and burglary offenses in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, William Andrew Oglesbee pleaded guilty to two charges of theft and one count of burglary in two separate cases.

Daniel J. Slovick, Lima – speeding 48 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $25.

A 17-year-old male for failure to yield (2nd moving violation), court ordered: 89-day license suspension and fined $35.

Tristan Jacob Reichelderfer, 610 N. High St., Kenton – speeding 44 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $15. Diana A. Gallant, Bucyrus – speeding 45 mph in a 55 mph zone, fined $15.
