ADA — The Ohio Northern University Department of Music will present the Ohio Northern Symphony: “Heroes: Beethoven’s Eroica” at 7:30 p.m. on May 6 in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts.

ADA -- Ohio Northern University will host an interactive family music concert in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts at 3 p.m. on May 6. The event will be preceded by an “instrument petting zoo” at 2:30 p.m. in the Freed Center lobby.

ADA – The Ohio Northern University Wind Orchestra will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 28 in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts. This is the opening concert of the annual ONU Spring Band Festival, now in its 42nd year.

Riders enjoy the new Mystic Timbers roller coaster at Kings Island Amusement Park during a media preview day on April 13. Built by Pennsylvania-based Great Coasters International and themed to an abandoned lumber company, the story-driven 109-foot-tall wooden roller coaster will traverse 16 airtime hills through wooded terrain and over water along a 3,265-foot-long track at speeds up to 53 mph.

BLUFFTON — The Friends of the Symphony and the Lima Symphony Orchestra will be holding their Young Artists’ Competition on Saturday, April 29 at Yoder Recital Hall, Bluffton University. This year’s competition is for piano, woodwind and brass.

LIMA — Team Roadrunners Bicycle Club will host its fourth annual Limaland Bicycle Tour on Saturday morning, June 17 at the Ottawa Metro Park, 2632 Ada Road, Lima. The event features three different route options, giving cyclists a chance to ride 25, 40 or 65 miles over local country roads.

ADA — Chris Murphy will present a saxophone recital at 7 p.m. today in Presser Hall at Ohio Northern University. The concert is free and open to the public.

BLUFFTON – Bluffton University’s 2017 Spring Instrumental Concert will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 23 in Yoder Recital Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

ADA — The Ohio Northern University Singers and Chamber Singers will present a concert at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 21 in Presser Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.

Robbie Hart, played by Reece Evens, sings of the “Casualties of Love” during a rehearsal of Ada High School’s musical production of “The Wedding Singer.” It will be staged at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday in the school auditorium.
