Kenton native receives highest award for wildlife conservation RENO, Nev. — Kenton native Dr. W. Alan Wentz was recognized with the Aldo Leopold Memorial Award for distinguished service to wildlife conservation in Reno, Nev., on Oct. 1. The award was announced at the joint meeting of The Wildlife Society and the American Fisheries Society. The award is the highest award given for service in the field of wildlife conservation.
