Paper Clover campaign at TSC

Tractor Supply Company will be launching its Fall Paper Clover campaign next week at stores nationwide. The biannual fundraiser, in partnership with National 4-H Council, provides thousands of dollars each year to offer opportunities for youth to attend conferences, 4-H camps and other developmental programs across the nation.

Kenton native receives highest award for wildlife conservation

RENO, Nev. — Kenton native Dr. W. Alan Wentz was recognized with the Aldo Leopold Memorial Award for distinguished service to wildlife conservation in Reno, Nev., on Oct. 1. The award was announced at the joint meeting of The Wildlife Society and the American Fisheries Society. The award is the highest award given for service in the field of wildlife conservation. First given in 1950, it goes to no more than one person each year.

McCormick family marks 20 years managing Hardin County Airport

For Ed McCormick and his family, aviation is a core part of their lives. Since becoming the manager of the Hardin County Airport in 1999, Ed has spent the last 20 years within sight of the runway. He and his wife, Nancy live on the property and Ed is on call at all times of the day to assist travelers as they stop for fuel or land in Kenton on a business call.
