Ice harvest Tuesday was the coldest day of 2018 so far and members of the Amish community could be found taking advantage of the bumper crop of ice available. Several were reported throughout the southern portion of the county cutting through the thick ice and hauling it to their insulated buildings for storage when temperatures climb back to normal in the spring. Ada council gets update on street and utility projects ADA — Street and utility projects are planned in Ada this year, according to Village Administrator Jamie Hall. Court of Appeals to hear two cases at ONU ADA —The Ohio 3rd District Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments in two cases at Ohio Northern University’s Pettit College of Law at 10 a.m. on Jan. 9 in the Large Moot Court Room. The oral arguments will be held before a three-judge panel consisting of Judges Stephen R. Shaw, Vernon L. Preston, John R. Willamowski or William R. Zimmerman.
