Crusade to improve area intersection discussed with county leaders A Ridgeway woman’s crusade to improve the intersection of two state highways continues. Brenda Zachary took her cause to the Hardin County commissioners on Thursday. Zachary is determined to have flashing lights on the stop signs at the crossing of Ohio 292 and 273 just north of Ridgeway, the site of a fatal accident in October which took the life of EMT Krista McDonald whose ambulance was broad-sided by a motorist who didn’t stop at the intersection. City Council agrees to cooperate with ODOT plans Kenton City Council voted to participate with the Ohio Department of Transportation on three separate projects in the city during its meeting Thursday night. Kenton agreed to cooperate with ODOT on the first phase of the Safe Routes to School program, designed to improve safety for children heading to the Kenton schools. Read More
