Short members, Kenton council considers tactics in mosquito war The City of Kenton did not have enough members present to pass any ordinances under emergency legislation on Monday night. However the five members of council that were present voted to give Safety Service Director Jim Hites permission to contract with LandTech to spray for mosquitos throughout the city to take care of a nuisance that has cropped up since several big rains at the end of June. McGuffey gets report on sewer project McGUFFEY — The McGuffey council heard an update on the planning phase of their new sewer treatment plant at its meeting on Monday.
