ADA — The Ohio Northern University Department of Music presents “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas,” featuring the ONU University Singers and the ONU Chamber Singers, at the First United Methodist Church on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.

FOREST — The Kenton-Hardin Health Department has issued a boil advisory for residents in Forest who live on West Gage Street and Wells Road and use municipal water. A water main in that area was damaged earlier this week.

A report was received of a semi hitting lights and wires at the intersection of Franklin and Detroit streets. Phone harassment was reported at 353 N. Detroit St.

Four new members of the Hardin County Agricultural Hall of Fame were honored for their dedication to the promotion of farming before being inducted Tuesday evening. It is the 13th time the county’s agricultural community has paid tribute to outstanding contributions to the county’s biggest business.

ADA — In the spirit of the Thanksgiving season, Ada Police Chief Michael Harnishfeger said he’s thankful for Officer Henry, the department’s newest addition. Henry is a K-9 unit recently brought in to assist the officers in searching for drugs.

One of the Kenton homes to be featured on this year’s Candy Cane Tour belongs to Dave and Marilyn Deever. This home was built in 1938 by Dr. Calvin Jackson.

A report was received that an employee of the AMVETS Post 1994 failed to lock up after closing. When the problem was discovered, the surveillance video was watched and it was learned that an employee and her husband stayed in the business until 5:30 a.m.
