Throughout her professional life, Jayme Minix has taken leaps of faith. Her latest jump has landed her as the interim director of Hardin County Hospice.

Since the job of Kenton Chief of Police was opened to all officers in the department, most of them will be competing for the job. The competition began after Chief John Vermillion retired from the force in May.

Hardin County Fair season and membership tickets will go on sale all over the county this week. Either ticket sells for $20.
