The Ada Presbyterian Church is holding its annual Soup Supper and Christmas Auction on Tuesday, Dec. 1. The supper will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a wide variety of soups available.

DELAWARE, Ohio – The Riverdale FFA is among 11 Ohio FFA chapters chosen to receive a $500 grant to participate in the Ohio Small Grains Marketing Program’s (OSGMP) nutritional-awareness campaign, “Food for Thought Challenge.”

COLUMBUS — The 97th annual meeting of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF) will be Dec. 2-4 in Columbus. The organization will elect leaders, establish its policies for the coming year, conduct leadership training and recognize county Farm Bureaus and individuals for their contributions to the organization and community.

MARYSVILLE — The Best of the Buckeye Program, hosted by the Ohio Cattlemen’s Association (OCA) in conjunction with the Ohio Beef Expo and the Ohio State Fair, is gearing up for its third season. The program provides Ohio seedstock breeders an additional marketing opportunity, creates a source for moderately priced show steers and heifers by providing a program with awards and prestige, and attracts new participants interested in showing at the Ohio Beef Expo and/or the Ohio State Fair.

Officers were aware of an active warrant for Lloyd Paul Stanley, 815 Morningside Drive Apt. C3, through the Hardin County Municipal Court. Stanley was located at his residence and taken into custody on the warrant.

The students at Kenton High School are getting training which may pay off for them long after graduation day. Jane Ensign is the instructor of the Kenton Kommunity Konnectors program at the school, which is in its first year and was established with a state grant received by the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance.

The United Way of Hardin County has received pledges totaling $135,054.22, the organization announced Wednesday. That represents 63 percent of the goal of $215,000, which the United Way has until the end of December to reach.
