KCS board sets public hearing

A public hearing to discuss the re-employment of Kevin Kapanka as a Kenton High School science teacher will be held at the Kenton Board of Education meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, July 27 at the administrative offices, 222 W. Carrol St. The board will take action on Kapanka’s employment at a special meeting in August at the administrative offices.

Red Cross assists family after fire

Disaster responders from the American Red Cross of Hardin County are helping three Forest residents following a fire Sunday at their residence. The residents, two adults and one child received a place to stay as well as food, clothing and comfort kits with personal hygiene items.
