Disaster responders from the American Red Cross of Hardin County are helping three Forest residents following a fire Sunday at their residence. The residents, two adults and one child received a place to stay as well as food, clothing and comfort kits with personal hygiene items.

Improvements to Kenton’s Waterworks Park top the list of projects for a proposed $300,000 Neighborhood Revitalization Grant. The grant application was approved Thursday by the Hardin County Commissioners.
