Two Kenton natives had an unexpected meeting in Afghanistan, where both serve in the U.S. armed forces.

RIDGEWAY — Work will begin at the end of this month on two water leaks in the village of Ridgeway. One of the leaks to be repaired is in an alley between Ohio and Madison streets, and the other lies in the 300 block of Hale Street.
