A report was received of a theft of a wallet from a vehicle at 403 W. North St.

Mary J. Carr, 699 Morningside Drive Apt. 310, reported the driver’s side of her car was keyed. Upon viewing the vehicle, it appeared to the officer as though the vehicle had struck something or possibly a shopping cart struck the vehicle causing the scratch that started on the front-left bumper area and continued down the left side of the vehicle toward the rear.

Lori Ann Treen, 823 Lick St., reported that a lawn mower had been stolen from her property.

William Alan Adams Jr., 424 E. Franklin St., Apt. 2, reported finding a drug abuse instrument – a chrome pipe with a brown residue inside – in the 400 block of Kohler St. Davon Klesmit, address unknown, was arrested on a warrant from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.

Heather Marie Baker, 980 Meadow Lane Apt. 30, was the driver of a vehicle that was stopped for a traffic violation. The passenger of the vehicle, Floyd Shawn Stevens, 19591 CR 115, was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Logan County.

Sabrina K. Thacker, 13379 CR 190, was northbound on N. Main Street, approaching the intersection of E. Carrol Street. Hailea R. Rall, 14567 CR 70, was stopped on E. Carrol Street at the same intersection facing west.

A report was taken of a broken fence at Rick’s Auto Sales, 920 W. Lima St. Upon review of the security video, a shirtless man was observed on a bicycle running around the west drive of Westview Estates and acting reckless.

The department was advised by the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office that a stolen vehicle from Seneca County was believed to be in the 800 block of Morningside Drive. The officer was able to locate the vehicle parked in front of the F building of 815 Morningside Drive.

Friday A police officer responded with an Adult Parole Authority officer to the B & J Motel for a wanted person.

Melissa M. Herzog, 17565 CR 209, Mount Victory, was southbound on N. Main St., approaching the intersection of Eliza Street, while Enrique Mendez, 410 Vine St., was stopped at the stop sign on Eliza St. facing east. Mendez pulled from the stop sign and failed to yield to Herzog, striking the vehicle. He was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign.
