An officer was dispatched to 553 Pattison Ave. for a report of a theft. Melissa S. Richardson, 1037 S. Main St. No. 37, called the department to a report of a theft from her residence.

Officers were called to 1010 W. Lima St. for an open burn that was out of control. Shawn Stump, same address, was issued a summons for open burning. During a traffic stop at Carrol and Wayne streets, the suspect, Chelsey Michelle Risner, 398 E. Forest Road Apt. 40D, was arrested on an active warrant out of the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.

An officer was dispatched to a report of a theft of a utility trailer at 723 W. Lima St. Lot 46. A report was received that sometime overnight, someone took a 20-foot long box trailer at the sales lot of Davis Motor Sales, 730 W. Lima St.

Friday A report was received of a car hitting a pole at Detroit and Carrol streets.

Abdikadir M. Jama, Louisville, Ky. was driving south on N. Detroit Street and turned left onto W. Carrol Street and struck a pole. He was cited for operating a vehicle without reasonable control.

An officer was in the Data Bit parking lot in the 700 block of W. Lima Street when he heard glass breaking somewhere west of his location. The officer went on foot to investigate the noise, and arrested Austin Scott Biederman, 723 W. Lima St. Lot 1.

FOREST — Forest Police Chief Donnie Southward submitted the following report of activities from his department for September. On Sept. 1, officers from the Adult Parole Authority and the Forest Police Department were assisted by the Hardin County Crime Task Force due to suspected criminal activity at 308 Speidel Ave.

Kenton police Suspicious vehicle reports were received at Village Pantry and also on Superior Street and on Resch Street.

Nate Osborn, 11854 Park Lane Drive, was arrested on a warrant on complaint. A loose dog was reported on Broadway Street.

An officer was dispatched to a report of drug activity by two known suspects at Village Pantry. Upon investigation, Sarah M. Fast and Matthew A. Kennedy, both of 12580 CR 175, were each issued a summons for possessing drug abuse instruments.
