During a traffic stop in the 600 block of N. Detroit Street, a police canine was used to conduct a sniff search of the vehicle.

James D. Sprang, 14265 CR 155, was backing westbound out of the drive located at 115 Mill St. and slid on the ice-covered roadway, striking a vehicle owned by Norma J. Furr, 114 Mill St., that was parked in front of her residence.

Kenton police A verbal dispute was reported at 349 Center St. Hardin sheriff Property damage accidents were reported at the following locations: CR 110 at CR 75; 12,000 block of Ohio 309; CR 35 at CR 60 and TR 50 at CR 215. A suspicious person was reported in the 5,000 block of U.S. 68.

A report was received of a stolen ring from the Kenton Nursing and Rehab Center. A shoplifter was reported at Walmart.

Landan B. Conkle, Findlay, was northbound on Ohio 235 near TR 110, when a deer entered the road from the east and was struck. The vehicle suffered minor damage.

An officer responded to the 200 block of Letson Avenue for a report of threats.

Jennifer L. Pendleton, 398 E. Forest Road Apt. 32C, was backing southbound in the public alley between 429 and 435 W. Columbus St.

An officer was aware of an active warrant through the Hardin County Municipal Court for Trisha Leigh Grider, 913 Cooper St. Grider was located at her residence and taken into custody on the warrant.

Walmart reported an attempted theft of $800 worth of merchandise. The suspect cut the fence in the garden section, then walked back into the store and loaded two black duffle bags full of merchandise.
