Officers found four juveniles in an abandoned residence in the 500 block of S. Detroit St. The two males and two females, all between the ages of 13 and 17, were charged with several offenses including criminal trespassing, loitering, curfew violations and obstructing official business.

Damage to a vehicle was reported at 410 W. Franklin St.

Vandalism to a vehicle was reported at 808 Park Ave.

The Hardin County Bureau of Motor Vehicles reported finding a 55-gallon plastic barrel full of aluminum cans and a push mower on their property at 1021 W. Lima St. A theft of rental property was reported at Showcase, 905 E. Columbus St.

Bonnie L. Wyomic, 510 S. Leighton St., reported the theft of a catalytic converter from her vehicle.

An officer recognized Vinson Hastings, 320 W. Columbus St., as someone who had an active bench warrant for his arrest. The officer took Hastings into custody, where a small amount of marijuana was found in his pants pocket. He was charged with drug possession.

An officer noticed two juvenile males in Scioto Village Apartments about 4 a.m. Monday. One of the boys crawled under a pickup truck as the cruiser approached.

Walmart of Kenton reported a man and woman walked into the store together. The woman was carrying a small backpack. The woman gave the backpack to the man once they got inside the store and he reportedly stuffed it with store merchandise and left the store without paying for it.

Kenton police An officer responded to a report of a runaway juvenile at 34 Resch St.

An unruly juvenile was reported in the 900 block of W. Carey St. A suspicious person was reported at the Mary Lou Johnson – Hardin County District Library.
