USV leaders unhappy with testing results McGUFFEY — The administration of the Upper Scioto Valley School District said Monday there is room for improvement on their latest state testing results. Kenton board, OAPSE enter into three-year agreement The Kenton Board of Education on Monday night approved a three-year contract with the district’s non-certified staff represented by the Ohio Association of Public School Employees. Identical to the teachers, the non-certified employees will receive a three percent raise the next two years, and a two percent increase in the final year. Read More
KCS finances are strong to wrap up FY16 Kenton City Schools completed the 2016 fiscal year with a cash balance of nearly $1.5 million. A report by Treasurer Tracy Hiller shows revenue totaled $21,105,763 with expenses of $19,619,390, leaving the cash total of $1,486,373. Read More
