Hopewell-Loudon slips past Riverdale, 48-47 MOUNT BLANCHARD — With just four seconds left and down one point to Hopewell-Loudon on senior night, the Riverdale Falcons were set to inbound the ball behind the Chieftains’ basket. Alec Loveridge inbounded the ball to Brock Davis who tossed it right back to Loveridge as he curved around the 3-point line and drove to the hoop, but his mid-range shot failed to find the bottom of the net as time expired, as the Falcons fell to Hopewell-Loudon 48-47 on Friday. USV holds off Wildcats in 51-47 victory With possession of the ball and just seven seconds left in the game, Kenton inbounded the ball on their offensive end of the court looking to get a game-tying 3-pointer against Upper Scioto Valley on Thursday night. The ball got to the hands of Jayden Cornell, and with time ticking down, he let the long-range shot go, but it didn’t find the bottom of the net, instead ending up in the hands of USV’s Wayne Lowery to seal the game with less than a second left.
