Ada police officer enjoys community outreach efforts ADA — For Ada Police Officer Penny Keller-Clark, her responsibilities stretch far beyond those of a typical police officer and into the realm of community outreach. Penny has been with the Ada PD in a part-time position since 1989, serving in multiple roles such as mayor’s court bailiff from 1992 to 1993 and zoning inspector from 2003 to 2013. Cross election sparks Alliance leadership moves When Jon Cross goes to Columbus in January to become the representative from the 83rd House District, he will remain the CEO and President of the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance. Homemakers making plans for annual Christmas program On Dec. 4, the Hardin County Homemakers will be holding its annual Christmas program at the First United Methodist Church in Ada with the ladies of the church furnishing lunch. Elks honor Teens of the Month for November Kama Leigh Arn is a senior at Ada High School. Her parents are Scott and Corsie Ann Leigh of Ada. Kama plans to earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing and then working in a children's hospital. Her working experiences have included being the cashier at the swimming pool and baby-sitting.
