FINDLAY — Upper Scioto Valley’s Megan Carey won both hurdle events to lead area athletes at the Division III district track meet at Findlay High School on Saturday. Carey, a senior, won the 100 hurdles in 15.58 seconds and the 300 hurdles in 47.98 seconds to advance to this week’s regional track meet in Tiffin.

The Hardin County Community Foundation presented 121 grants totaling $136,014 at its annual awards reception on Thursday afternoon at the Armory in Kenton. An additional $7,000 will be awarded in five college scholarships, making the total awards $143,014.
