Hardin Northern’s Awakened Commotion will perform at “Jazz in the Fall” at Upper Sandusky High School’s “Little Theater” on Saturday starting at 7 p.m. Members of the group include David Allen, Rylie Bame, Sebastian Bejarano, Mariah Burton, Cassidy Deckling, Maddie Grappy, Grace King, Garrett Eikenbary and Clair Wilson.

Students at Tuesday’s Alger Public Library program met Ollie, the miniature horse and his handlers, Jolene Buchenroth (left) and Samantha Sullivan. Buchenroth shared a story with the children about how Ollie tried to be a cow by wearing a costume in order to fit in with her friends.
