BELLEFONTAINE — After spending three years traveling across Ohio serving as treasurer for different community schools, Mandy France was ready to be closer to her Ridgeway home. In July, France took over the role of treasurer for the Benjamin Logan School District and now has just a 15-minute commute to her job.

A First Responders Appreciation Dinner, sponsored by Only Believe Ministries in Kenton, was held Thursday night in the community room at Mid-Ohio Energy Cooperative, Kenton. Police, firefighters and EMTs were invited to the third annual dinner.
