Bejerano happy for chance to compete When Sebastian Bejerano told Hardin Northern cross country coach Chad Cook that he was planning to run cross country this fall, the Polar Bear mentor thought the senior was joking. Those thoughts quickly changed to excitement for Cook when Bejerano, who has never been allowed to participate in athletics in high school because of heart issues he was born with, told him that he was serious and that his doctors had cleared him to run.
