The Hardin County Council on Aging Senior Center celebrated St. Patrick’s Day by playing “green” trivia and eating mint chocolate chip ice cream.

A meal is served at 11:15 a.m. weekdays for people ages 60 and older at the Hardin County Council on Aging in Kenton. Transportation and meal reservations are required 24 hours in advance by calling the Council on Aging, 419-673-1102.

Harco is hosting a senior bingo on Friday at Harco Industries in Kenton. Bingo will begin at 10:30 a.m.. followed by a free meal cooked by Aktion Club consisting of chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans and brownie and drink.

The Hardin County Council on Aging Senior Center had a Share a Pie Day. The seniors enjoyed eating a variety of pies.

The seniors at the Hardin County Council on Aging Senior Center celebrated Ohio becoming a state on March 1. They learned about Ohio facts and dressed in Ohio gear.

Residents at Hardin Hills Health and Rehab spent a recent afternoon playing Yahtzee. For some it was the first time to play the game and they really enjoyed the challenge, while others had a hard time rolling the dice and getting that Yahtzee.

Joan Cannon celebrated her 90th birthday on Feb. 20. A family dinner was held at the Midway in Kenton. Twenty-eight family members celebrated with her.
