Fear of falling by older adults begins ‘vicious circle of inactivity’ Statistics say every 11 seconds, an older adult is taken to an emergency room due to a fall. Of those 65 years or older, a fourth will fall at least once each year. The Hardin County YMCA presented a lunch and learn program Friday which taught residents how to better avoid becoming one of those statistics. Read More
