The Kenton High School powerlifters finished first at the 2018 State Powerlfting meet held at KHS on Saturday.

For the sixth consecutive year the Kenton High School powerlifters are state champions. The host Wildcats outlifted runner-up St. Marys by over 1,200 pounds to claim the boys team title at the annual State Powerlifting Championship on Saturday afternoon at KHS.

With Mother Nature being a little stubborn, the Veterans Memorial Park Golf Course in Kenton has extended its early pay period to March 31. The course also has extended its off-season rates until March 31.
