ROCKFORD — Upper Scioto Valley pitcher Wayne Lowery hurled a three-hitter in the Rams sectional matchup with Parkway on Tuesday afternoon.

DOLA — Pandora-Gilboa plated two runs in the fifth inning and added four more in the sixth on the way to a 6-1 sectional baseball win over host Hardin Northern on Tuesday. The Polar Bears, who led 1-0 after a second inning RBI by Brady Cramer, were held to three hits in the game.

TONTOGANY — Otsego scored five runs in the second inning and had single runs in four other innings on the way to a 9-2 baseball win over Riverdale on Tuesday afternoon.

RIDGEWAY — With just two hits through four innings, Ridgemont was looking for an offensive spark against Perry in the first round of softball sectional tournament action on Monday. Taylor Cronley provided that spark in the fifth inning with a leadoff double to right field, setting off a five-run inning for the Gophers on the way to a 6-1 win.

RIDGEWAY — The Ridgemont baseball team took advantage of six Lima Temple Christian errors on the way to an 8-2 regular season victory on Monday afternoon.

ARLINGTON — Arlington plated six innings in the bottom of the sixth inning to finish off a 13-3 victory over Riverdale in a Blanchard Valley Conference baseball game on Monday. The game was continued from April 19 when it was stopped due to rain.

DOLA — Perry got to Hardin Northern’s pitching early, taking advantage of Polar Bear errors to score nine runs in the first inning on the way to a 21-0 Northwest Central Conference baseball win on Monday afternoon. The Commodores, who added a run in the second before plating four more in the third, three in the fourth and four in the fifth, held the Polar Bears to just four hits in the contest.

BELLEFONTAINE — Kenton defeated Bellefontaine 4-1 in a non-league boys tennis match on Monday afternoon. The Wildcats collected wins in the top two singles positions as Kyle Goodin topped Hunter Karg 6-0, 6-1 and Kenji Kobayashi was a 6-0, 6-0 winner over Lindsay Stevenson.

ADA — Both the Kenton boys and girls track teams won seven events on the way to first place finishes at the Hardin County Junior High Track Meet on Monday afternoon at War Memorial Park. The Kenton boys finished with 150 points to runner-up Hardin Northern’s 138 points. Ada was third with 81.
