The Ridgemont golf team defeated Ada 252-268 at Memorial Park Golf Course on Wednesday night.

KALIDA — Van Buren dominated as it has all season, setting a school and course record with a 294 to win the Blanchard Valley Conference golf tournament Wednesday at Country Acres Golf Course in Kalida.

BELLEFONTAINE — Greenon defeated Ben Logan 157-190 in a Central Buckeye Conference golf match at Liberty Hills on Tuesday. Will Kenoyer and Kaiden Weaks both shot 46s to lead the Raiders.

FINDLAY — Riverdale won the first set before Liberty-Benton responded to take the next three for a 23-25, 25-12, 25-19, 25-16 victory in a Blanchard Valley Conference volleyball match Monday night. Carrol Pauley led the way for the Falcons (5-5, 3-2 BVC) with 14 kills and Jessica Johnston added nine kills.

The Kenton Middle School volleyball teams split a pair of matches with Elida on Monday night. The KMS eighth grade won 25-19, 13-25, 25-18.

After having chances to win each of the first three games but facing a 2-1 hole, Kenton was in danger of getting blown out in the fourth game of a nonconference volleyball contest Monday night.

The Kenton soccer team wanted to get off to a fast start when it hosted Van Wert on Monday night. The Wildcats did just that as Luke Woodruff headed a cross pass from Hayden Hicks into the Van Wert net in the game’s ninth minute.

DELPHOS — Maddie McConnahea had three goals and Delphos Jefferson scored five times in the first half on the way to a 7-0 win over Ada in a Northwest Conference girls soccer match Monday.

Bath defeated Kenton 4-1 in a WBL girls tennis match Monday afternoon. The lone win for the Hardin County Wildcats came from Mykaela Schriber who topped Kylee Morris 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 singles

URBANA — The Benjamin Logan boys soccer team shut out Urbana 3-0 Monday night. It was the Raiders first win over Urbana in five years.
