ARCADIA — Riverdale used a balanced attack to beat Arcadia, 25-19, 23-25, 25-19, 25-20, in a Blanchard Valley Conference volleyball match Wednesday night.

BELLFONTAINE — Bellefontaine defeated Ben Logan 3-0 in a Central Buckeye Conference boys soccer match Wednesday night. The Raiders, who suffered their second loss in as many nights, fall to 4-2-3 on the season.

SPRINGFIELD — The Ben Logan girls soccer team topped Emmanuel Christian 2-0 in a nonconference matchup on Wednesday. Autumn Horton and Stevie Plikerd scored goals for the Raiders, while Katelyn Shellenberger was in goal for the shutout.

TIFFIN — Tiffin Columbian defeated Ada 2-0 in a North Central Ohio Soccer Association girls soccer match Wednesday night. Ada, 2-4-1 on the season, outshot the Tornadoes 9-4 in the game. The Bulldogs received two saves from keeper Rielyn Castle.

Lima Temple Christian defeated Ridgemont 166-205 in boys golf action Wednesday. Alex Ramsey led the Gophers with a round of 48 and two pars. Dalton Tackett and Zach Jenkins each shot 52. Tackett had a birdie and a par.

McCOMB — Mason Pickett shot a 55 to lead Riverdale in a Blanchard Valley Conference golf tri-match loss Wednesday at Shady Acres Golf Course. McComb topped Arcadia, 172-192, with the Falcons shooting a 254.

FORT LORAMIE — The Benjamin Logan boys cross country team finished 10th with 262 points at the Fort Loramie Cross Country Invitational on Tuesday afternoon.

McGUFFEY — Upper Scioto Valley played its first volleyball match in 12 days Tuesday night and it didn’t go the way the Rams hoped it would.

ADA — Junior middle hitter Melina Woods’ 23 kills helped lead her Ada Bulldogs volleyball team to a sweep of Northwest Conference rival Paulding on Tuesday night, 25-14, 25-18, 25-18.

The Kenton golf team defeated Celina 182-199 in a Western Buckeye League match at Memorial Park Golf Course on Tuesday afternoon. Rocco Longbrake carded a 42 to earn medalist honors. Also for Kenton, Peyton Roby shot a 45, Cruz Bryant a 47 and Cole Dearing and Brock Cote both recorded 48s.
