DOLA — Hardin Northern built a 15-point halftime lead and rolled to a 43-23 girls basketball win over winless Perry in Northwest Central Conference action Thursday night.

SIDNEY — Upper Scioto Valley used a big fourth quarter to defeat Lehman Catholic, 55-45, in Northwest Central Conference girls basketball Thursday night. With the game tied at 32 after three quarters, the Rams outscored the Cavaliers 23-13 over the final eight minutes for the 10-point victory.

The Hardin County Sports Hall of Fame has announced its class of inductees for its sixth annual ceremony, which will be held May 7 at Upper Scioto Valley High School.

RIVERSIDE — Stebbins snapped Ben Logan’s four-game winning streak Wednesday night by controlling the second half in a 60-50 victory in girls basketball action. The Raiders (14-3) led 17-10 after the first quarter and 23-22 at halftime, but Stebbins outscored Ben Logan 20-11 in the third quarter and 18-16 in the fourth to grab the win.

ARCADIA — Arcadia pulled away from Hardin Northern in the third quarter Wednesday night on its way to a 65-50 boys basketball victory. The Polar Bears started well and led 19-18 after the first quarter.

TIFFIN — Junior Aron Thress and freshman Ryan Bruns led the Ohio Northern men's basketball team to an 84-66 victory over Heidelberg on Wednesday. The Polar Bears improve to 6-10 overall and 3-6 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the Student Princes fall to 9-7, 4-5.

BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan defeated Greenon in boys bowling on Wednesday. The Raiders won 2,591-2,343.

ADA — The No. 11-ranked Ohio Northern women's basketball team extended its win streak to 12 games as it defeated Heidelberg 61-51 on Wednesday evening at the ONU Sports Center. The Polar Bears (14-2, 9-0 Ohio Athletic Conference) led by only four at halftime, but started the third quarter on a 12-4 run to go ahead 41-28.

Kenton won half of the contested bouts Tuesday night, but still came up short in a pair of wrestling dual matches. Van Wert defeated the Wildcats 36-23 in the first match of the night and then Wapakoneta topped Kenton 46-18.
