ADA — Delphos Jefferson rallied from a fourth-quarter deficit and went on to defeat Ada 56-52 in overtime Friday night in Northwest Conference boys basketball.

VAN WERT — Kenton led Van Wert by one point after three quarters Thursday night in Western Buckeye League girls basketball. The Wildcats were finally able to pull away in the fourth quarter to grab a 69-57 victory.

BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan won a pair of wrestling dual meets Thursday night, defeating Triad 54-24 and Oakwood 41-29.

McGUFFEY — A night of celebration for the Upper Scioto Valley girls basketball team ended on a bit of a somber note Thursday night. The Rams’ Shelby Spradlin scored eight of the first 14 points, including her 1,000th career point, as USV took command of its contest with Hardin Northern during the early going.

NORTH BALTIMORE — Riverdale was not overmatched or outplayed in a heavyweight Blanchard Valley Conference tilt at North Baltimore on Thursday. In the end, it was outdone. Timely shot-making helped the Tigers survive an overtime thriller at home, 66-65, to advance to 12-1 on the season (6-1 BVC).

DELPHOS — Ada pulled away from Delphos Jefferson in the third quarter Thursday night on its way to a 56-42 girls basketball victory. The Bulldogs (7-6, 3-2 Northwest Conference) led 21-17 at halftime and outscored Jefferson 17-10 in the third quarter to go ahead 38-27.

LIMA — Ridgemont defeated Lima Temple Christian 45-33 in girls basketball action Thursday night. The Gophers (8-7) were led by Priscilla Howland’s double-double. Howland scored a team-high 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

URBANA — Urbana handed the Ben Logan boys bowling team its third loss of the season Thursday. Urbana won 3,025-2,609.

ADA — The No. 16 ranked Ohio Northern University women's basketball team extended its win streak to 10 with a 73-42 victory over Wilmington on Wednesday at the ONU Sports Center. Ohio Northern (12-2, 7-0 OAC) took control with a 9-0 run to start the third quarter.

DOLA — Hardin Northern dominated Horizon Science Academy on Wednesday night in nonconference boys basketball action. The Polar Bears scored more points in three different quarters than Horizon did in the whole game on their way to a 102-24 victory.
