MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale beat Liberty-Benton, 13-3, in a Blanchard Valley Conference softball game Monday.

NEW WASHINGTON — Upper Scioto Valley finished third on the boys side of the Stache Dash Invitational track and field meet hosted by Buckeye Central on Friday.

Errors cost Kenton on Saturday as the Wildcats were swept in a nonconference baseball doubleheader by Bellefontaine. Bellefontaine won the first game 6-3 and took the second 5-2.

UPPER SANDUSKY — Down to its last strike in the top of the seventh inning, the Riverdale baseball team was in danger of falling below .500 again this year. Evan McKee came through, though, with a single up the middle to push the Falcons to a 7-6 non-conference victory against Upper Sandusky on Saturday morning.

VAN BUREN — Ada swept Van Buren in a nonconference softball doubleheader Saturday, winning 9-2 and 6-3. Teyah Sautter led the way for the Bulldogs in Game 1.

BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan split a pair of baseball games Saturday, defeating Botkins 15-0 in five innings and falling to Riverside 7-2. The Raiders were dominant against Botkins, scoring five runs in the first inning and 10 in the second.

BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan scored the go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth Friday night to defeat Springfield Shawnee 5-4 in Central Buckeye Conference softball.

UPPER SANDUSKY — Upper Sandusky defeated Riverdale 5-2 in nonconference softball Saturday. Riverdale scored in the top of the first inning but only briefly held the lead.

DeGRAFF — Hardin Northern boys and girls swept the Riverside Invite track and field competition Friday night. The Polar Bear boys scored 153 points, 19 more than Fairlawn in the six-team invite.

BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan was sixth and Kenton was eighth Friday on the girls side of the Chieftain Relays. Ben Logan was led by three first-place finishes.
