Riverdale softball sweeps Ada

MOUNT BLANCHARD — The Riverdale softball team swept a doubleheader with Ada 8-1 and 7-6 in non-league games Saturday. Taylor Farmer got the win in both games for the Falcons (6-0) with a combined 16 strikeouts. She gave up four earned runs in 14 innings.

Bulldogs sweep St. Wendelin baseball

ADA — Ada swept St. Wendelin 15-0 and 8-5 in a non-league baseball doubleheader on Saturday afternoon. In the first game, the Bulldogs, who improved to 4-2 on the season, scored three runs in the first inning and added eight in the second to pull away.

Riverside beats USV in pair of games

McGUFFEY — The Upper Scioto Valley baseball team had a rough day on Saturday, falling to Riverside 17-1 and 11-0 in a Northwest Central Conference baseball doubleheader. In game one, Riverside jumped ahead 6-1 after one inning and 16-1 after two innings.

Rams topped in home doubleheader

McGUFFEY — Riverside swept Upper Scioto Valley 10-0 and 10-3 in a softball doubleheader on Saturday afternoon. The Rams, who fall to 1-2 on the season, received six hits, including two doubles from catcher Maddie Lowery in the two games.

Raiders grab 7th

CASSTOWN — Ben Logan girls track placed seventh in the 14-team Miami East Invitational with 51.5 points. Covington won the title with 94 points. Sidney finished second, only eight points behind Covington.
