Carters perform well in first fighting tourney

A self-defense class morphed into something more for Riverdale students Emma and Loukas Carter of Kenton. They started taking a self-defense class from David Heaberlin. After seeing the Carters in action, he wondered if they had any interest in moving on to taekwondo.

Ada hands out winter awards

ADA — Ada handed out special awards to its winter sports athletes Tuesday night. The boys basketball team recognized Grant McBride, Levi Bass, Blake Willeke and Brayden Sautter as captains.

President outlines changes to Kenton Little League

Kenton Little League is currently registering players for the 2015 season, with tryouts slated for Saturday at the Kenton Middle School. As is the case most years, there are several things that have changed in Kenton Little League this year, including the implementation of online registration and a change in the age groups.
