SANDUSKY — KP Miller had two goals and an assist and five other Kenton players netted a goal as the Wildcats ripped Sandusky 7-0 in a non-league soccer match on Saturday afternoon. Reed Cook, Trenton Yoder, Riley Risner, Gus Forester and Colby Quay also netted goals for the Wildcats.

LIMA — Kenton’s top singles players, Mykaela Schriber dropped both of her matches on Saturday at the Western Buckeye League tennis tournament as she finished fourth in the No. 1 singles bracket. After winning her opening match on Thursday, Schriber, who was seeded fourth coming into the tournament, fell in the semifinals to top-seeded Aria Patel of Bath 6-2, 6-1.

VAN WERT — Joe Parker led the way for the Upper Scioto Valley cross country team, finishing 13th in a time of 18:01. The Rams were 7th of 20 teams at the Van Wert Cross Country Invitational on Saturday.

ONTARIO — Ontario defeated Kenton 25-12, 25-10, 25-8 in a non-league volleyball match on Saturday. The Wildcats were paced by Jenna Manns with 8 digs, 7 assists and 2 aces. Also chipping in was Lacie Nichols with 7 digs.

PANDORA — Pandora-Golboa swept Hardin Northern 25-13, 25-6, 25-18 in a non-league volleyball matchup on Saturday. Alex Jackson had 6 kill, an ace and a dig to lead the Polar Bear.

ADA — The Ohio Northern football team put on an offensive showcase in a 45-35 vicory over Otterbain in the Polar Bears first home game of the 2019 season Saturday at Dial-Roberson Stadium. ONU improves to 2-2 on the season and 2-1 in Ohio Athletic Conference play.

BELLEFONTAINE — The Ben Logan seventh and eight grade volleyball teams defeated Northridge and London in a tri-match on Saturday. The eighth grade Raiders defeated London 25-8, 25-11.
