METAMORA — The Ridgemont Golden Gophers fell to Evergreen 58-24 on the road in Friday night’s non-conference football game. The Gophers fall to 0-3 with the loss, while the Vikings improve to 2-1.

Hannah Holland scored the game-winning goal with 29 seconds left in the game to lift Kenton to a 4-3 win over Wapakoneta in Western Buckeye League girls soccer action on Thursday. The goal came on a rush from the right flank in which Holland got past a Wapakoneta defender and snuck the ball past a diving Wapakoneta keeper before putting the ball into the empty met.

ST. PARIS — Ben Logan rallied for a five-set, 25-17, 15-25, 21-25, 28-26, 15-10 victory over Graham in Central Buckeye Conference volleyball action on Thursday. The Raiders improve to 7-3 overall and remain unbeaten in CBC play at 4-0.

SIDNEY — Jared Hunt shot a 46 to lead Upper Scioto Valley to a 190-197 win over Sidney Lehman Catholic in a Northwest Central Conference golf match at Shelby Oaks Golf Course on Thursday. Drew Stephens shot a 47, Quinn Sanders had a 48 and Tyler Gratz fired a 49 for the Rams.

SIDNEY — Lehman Catholic swept Hardin Northern in a Northwest Central Conference volleyball match 25-22, 25-16, 25-12 on Thursday night. Alex Jackson had 7 kills and 5 blocks and Renee Newton had 6 kills and 2 blocks to lead the Hardin Northern attack.

BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan and Jackson Center tied 1-1 in a non-league boys soccer match on Thursday afternoon. Trailing 1-0 after a penalty kick by Jackson Center five minutes into the game, Dylan Welch tied the game when he scored off an assist from Caleb Epps with 12 minutes left in the second half.
