Falcons outhit Leipsic

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale plated all its runs n the final two innings it batted, including seven in the fourth inning, on the way to a 10-1 five-inning victory over Leipsic on Monday night. Alison Donaugh had an RBI triple and Brooke Walter had a double with a pair of RBIs to lead the Falcon hitting attack.

KAST signup meeting to be held on Saturday

The Kenton Area Swim Team (KAST) will be holding a sign-up meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 725 Eliza St., across from the Kenton High School softball field. Anyone that is unable to make the meeting is asked to email kentonstingrays@gmail.com for sign-up packet.

Shawnee nips KHS tennis 3-2

LIMA — Kenton won two of the three singles matches, but was unable to come up with a win in doubles play as the Wildcats fell to Shawnee 3-2 in a Western Buckeye League tennis match Friday. Winning for the Wildcats was Taj Chahal, who got past Gabriel Rutter in three sets 4-6, 6-1, 6-3 and Hayden Robinson, who was a 5-7, 6-3, 7-6 (7-1) victor over Adam Stump.

Lady Raiders cruise past Elida, 14-2

ELIDA — Jenn Naragon and Haley Wilson had two hits each to lead Ben Logan to a 14-2 softball win over Elida on Saturday. Naragon and Wilson finished with two hits each for the Raiders, who took the lead with two runs in the fourth inning before adding four in the fifth and one in the sixth.

Players and coaches of the 2nd farm Orioles helped load and unload water donated to the Kenton Little League by Village Pantry of Kenton. The donation helps keep the cost of water low to assist the league with their healthy eating and drinking program co-sponsored by United Way of Hardin County.
