The 9th annual Hardin County Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held on May 11th at Upper Scioto Valley High School. This year inductees include:

McGUFFEY — The Riverdale girls took first place in eight events and added second place efforts in five more events on the way to claiming the team championship at the eight-team Upper Scioto Valley RAM Invitational on Thursday night.

ADA — Kenton broke a 1-1 tie with two runs in the fourth innings on the way to a 3-2 victory over Ada in non-league softball action on Wednesday. After the Bulldogs took the lead with a run in the bottom of the first, Kenton tied the game in the third inning before plating the go-ahead runs in the fourth.

ADA — Kenton had a pair of seven-run innings on the way to a 16-5 victory over Ada in a baseball matchup of the Hardin County rivals on Wednesday afternoon. The Wildcats had 15 hits with 8 different players getting base hits.

BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan plated a pair of runs in the third and fourth innings on the way to a 4-0 victory over Graham in Central Buckeye Conference baseball action on Wednesday. The Raiders received a two-run single from Tyler Allen, an RBI single by Trace Tevis and an RBI by Cole Jones in the victory.

McGUFFEY — Upper Scioto Valley rallied from a seven-run deficit to take the lead, but could not hang on as Allen East topped the Rams 12-11 in eight innings in non-league softball action on Wednesday. Allen East led 9-2 going into the bottom of the fifth inning when the Rams plated eight runs to grab a 10-9 advantage.

PANDORA — Alec Loveridge tossed a one-hitter, allowing just two baserunners and striking out 10 batters to lead Riverdale to a 2-0 Blanchard Valley Conference baseball victory over Pandora-Gilboa on Wednesday. Seth McElree had an RBI single for the Falcons, who plated both of their runs in the first inning.

RIDGEWAY — Ridgemont plated all of its runs in the final three innings it batted in an 8-2 Northwest Central Conference softball victory over Perry on Wednesday. The Gophers got a pair of hits including a double and three RBIs from Nicole Freshcorn.

RIDGEWAY — Austin Elsasser had an RBI double in the fourth inning to account for Ridgemont’s lone run in a 7-1 loss to Perry in Northwest Central Conference baseball action on Wednesday. Cole McKinley added a double and Troy Cameron singled for the Gophers.

DOLA — Fairbanks took control early and then closed out the game with 12 runs in the top of the fifth inning on the way to a 21-0 victory over Hardin Northern in a non-league baseball game on Wednesday. Connor Pack had three hits with a pair of doubles and four RBIs to lead the Panthers at the plate. Jaeden Eickhoff and Braxton Wilhelm added four hits and three RBIs each.
