KHS girls blast Van Wert

Sidney Plott had four goals abd an assist to lead Kenton to an 8-0 victory over Western Buckeye League Van Wert in soccer action on Monday afternoon. Hananh Holland, Addison Modd, Keelee Barrett and Brylee Hayter added goals for the Wildcats.

Rams golfers top Lima Sr.

Upper Scioto Valley defeated Lima Senior 197-248 in a non-league golf match on Monday afternoon. Jared Hunt led the way for the Raiders with a 42. Quinn Sanders added a 47, Blake Gratz a 50 and Drew Stephens a 58. Also for USV, Even Lyle carded a 63.

The Kenton Middle School eighth grade volleyball team defeated Van Wert 25-13, 25-10 on Monday night. Brynn Bulter served up 10 aces and had a kill to lead the Wildcats. Reese Levering had 2 aces and 2 kills, Mya Good had 2 aces and Chloe Pleasant had an ace and two assists.

Krohmer, Parker pace area runners at Ohio Caverns

WEST LIBERTY — Kenton had five of the top 30 runners to finish second of 10 teams with 80 points at the Ohio Caverns Invitational cross country meet on Saturday. Kierra Krohmer was fourh of 93 runners in a time of 20:49 to lead the way for the Lady Wildcats. She was followed by Callie Wright in 12th (22:30), Sammie Unger in 20th (23:00), Kylie Allmon in 21st (23:01), Kendyl Gibson in 27th (23:53) and Mryanda Archer was 52nd (26:18).

ONU begins 1st esports season with victory

ADA — The Ohio Northern esports teams opened their inaugural seasons in impressive fashion, sweeping Muskingum 2-0 in Overwatch and 2-0 in League of Legends on Saturday in Great Lakes Esports League action. The Polar Bears are 1-0 overall and 1-0 in GLEC action in both games, while both Muskie teams fall to 0-1, 0-1.
