The Hardin County Business and Professional Women’s Club met on June 11 to review and select their scholarship winner. Following discussion and a vote of several worthwhile candidates, the members selected Kylie Allmon of Kenton. A check for $500 was awarded to Allmon, an Ohio Northern University junior, to help with her expenses to achieve a Bachelor of Nursing degree at ONU. It is a four-year program. She is volunteering this summer with Nurses Without Borders in the Dominican Republic to access more training. Her parents are Darrel and Shannon Allmon.
