In first doubles, Kenton’s Amanda Van Horn and Presley Wilson won 6-0, 6-0 over Nakyelah Bouyer and Alison Wilson. Kenton’s second doubles tandem of Katie Lowe and Diana Nease won by forfeit. Kenton’s Mia Vermillion swept Lima Senior’s Somiala Johnson 6-0, 6-0. Kenton’s Katelyn Stevenson notched a 6-4, 6-3 win over Lima Senior’s Mataya Lewis. Lima Senior’s Makayla Rader defeated Kenton’s Makenna Stanforth 6-0, 6-1 at first singles. Kenton plays at Lima Shawnee today at 4:30 p.m.
