Royalty selection and band show open the fair Posted on September 5, 2018 0 Times photo/Dan Robinson At left, Mara France of Ridgemont and Chase Fleece of Kenton were crowned the 2018 Hardin County Fair queen and king Tuesday evening in front of a large crowd at the grandstand. France’s parents are Brandon and Mandy France of Ridgeway. Fleece is the son of Craig and Jennifer Fleece of Kenton. The runners-up in the contest were the non-traditional entries of home schooled student Ruth Ann Osborne and Ben Logan student Mason Manns. Times photo/Dan Robinson At right, Noah Ketcham (left) and the Kenton Wildcat Marching Band belt out the words to the song “Mickey” which was one of the one-hit wonders in their part of Tuesday night’s band show. Bands from Ada, Hardin Northern, Ridgemont, Riverdale and Upper Scioto Valley also presented their productions.
