Work began this morning on the demolition of the former Espy Elementary in Kenton.

ADA — For the past five months, senior citizens have been encouraged to make their way to the ReStore Community Center in Ada, find a dance partner and move to the music. On the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month, from 2 to 4 p.m., ReStore opens its doors to any seniors who want to get up and dance.

Eighteen students participated in the 2014-2015 Kenton Elementary School Robotics Club.

Rochelle Jackson, 815 Morningside Drive Apt. C-7, reported she observed two suspects engaging in a physical altercation outside the Eagles Point E building.

ADA — There is a lot of local history in Ada and Ohio Northern University students have studied the past of their host town for many years. Some have researched Dr. Martin Luther King’s visit in the late 1960s. Others have turned in papers, no doubt, on the founding of the university and the people who made that happen.

Coming off what may be the best year for economic development in the county’s history, leaders of the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance hope to continue to capitalize on that momentum with a new five-year strategic plan.
