An on-station report was received of a possible hit-skip accident at Walmart.

Kenton’s new outdoor warning siren will be activated as part of the statewide tornado drill on Friday at 9:50 a.m. The drill is part of Ohio’s Spring Severe Weather Awareness Week, March 1-7.

ALGER — Residents in Alger have complained of a drone flying over their houses and posting pictures on the internet. “I have been getting calls about drones over Alger,” Mayor David Allen told council Monday evening. “A resident asked me what we were going to do about them.”

DUNKIRK — A public meeting was held by the Dunkirk Village Council Monday evening for an anticipated ordinance vacating certain alleys and streets dedicated to and accepted by the village.

ADA — Ada High School will host a College Credit Plus and Credit Flex meeting on Monday, March 9 in the auditorium for parents and students attending Ada High School. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.

MOUNT VICTORY — For 37 years, Jerry and Karen Burrey have been supplying the Mount Victory community with cars and convenience. The couple are owners and operators of Hardin Motors and the Mount Victory Mini Mart and gas station on South Main Street in the village.
