Elizabeth Thompson, of Alger Junior Farmers, showed the grand champion barrow during the Hardin County Junior Fair swine show on Tuesday. Elizabeth is the daughter of Jeff and Felicia Thompson of Alger. Ezrah attends school at Benjamin Logan and is a member of the Mount Victory Champs 4-H club. Earning grand champion born and raised in Hardin County market hog on Friday with his hog from Sparks Farms was Trenton Heacock, son of Josh Heacock and Trisha Morris. Trenton attends school at Hardin Northern and is a member of the Blanchard Valley Buckeyes 4-H club. Layne Taylor, of Hardin County Joy Riders, was the fastest around the barrels during the Hardin County Junior Fair horse show on Tuesday. Layne is the daughter of Scott and Nicky Taylor of Kenton.
