The Hardin County Board of Elections will not meet on Thursday, Dec. 14. There will be no meeting in December.

Two new board members were approved at the Hardin County Agricultural Society meeting on Saturday night. Dale Cockerell was the top vote-getter for the Director at Large vacancy in a paper ballot vote by current directors.

Workers from V and R Construction put the finishing touches on the exterior of Kenton’s new Dollar Tree store, located at 1000 E. Columbus Street on the site of the former Hardin Central Elementary.

Josh and Lesley Yeater cut the ribbon to open their new store on the north side of the square in Kenton on Friday morning. Custom Torso Silk Screen Apparel, 120 W. Columbus St., offers customers custom silk screened T-shirts and custom apparel.

Hardin Memorial Hospital welcomes the primary care services of certified physician assistant, Corey McMurray to the Kenton community. After practicing for more than five years at OhioHealth in Marion, McMurray has joined OhioHealth Primary Care Physicians in Kenton and will work in partnership with Jeffrey Neuhauser, MD; Christina Crum, MD; and Danita Podach, PA-C.
