MOUNT VICTORY — Visitors to Hardin Motors in Mount Victory will be seeing a change in the dealership’s sign, but there will be few other changes taking place as the Chrysler dealership becomes Nelson Auto on Tuesday.

When Debbie Breidenbach decided to put her Royal Duchess Beauty Salon on the market two years ago, she sought help from a higher source. After all, the salon on North Detroit Street in Kenton had been a huge part of her life for 45 years. She was close to her neighbors at the location and wanted the building to be used to better the community.

In order for a community to grow, it must first have something to sell to investors. That was the message delivered by Professor Ned Hill to a large group of city, county, village and community leaders at a luncheon workshop Wednesday at the Hardin County Courthouse.

UPPER SANDUSKY — Quest Federal Credit Union on Tuesday celebrated the grand opening of its fifth and newest branch, located in Upper Sandusky, serving the residents of Wyandot County.

Adapting the United Way of Hardin County theme, Viva Maria's Pizza and Pasta in Ada will be demonstrating its “Compassion into Action” with the “Dine Out” program on Tuesday Oct. 25.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 19 Hardin Northern Board of Education – 7 p.m., computer lab

Hardin Community School Board will meet Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 7:30 a.m. in the conference room at Hardin Community School. This meeting will replace the Tuesday, Oct. 25 meeting.
