The Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance is now accepting nominations for the 2016 Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year and Community Service Awards. Anyone from Hardin County may be nominated to receive these honors.

MONDAY, OCT. 17 Kenton Planning Commission – 8 a.m., municipal building; to schedule a public hearing on a zoning classification request for property at the corner of U.S. 68 and County Road 135.

The Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance along with the Hardin County Ambassadors will conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony at Kenton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 117 Jacob Parrott Blvd., Kenton, on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 4:30 p.m.

Fall Market Day is Sunday at the Tractor Supply Company store in Kenton From noon to 3 p.m., local artisans, crafters and farmers selling their unique wares and produce. Participating vendors will have tables set up at the tented space by the storefront where they will showcase their goods.

The Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance along with the Hardin County Ambassadors will conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony at Mathew’s Walkway on the north side of Harco Industries, 705 N. Ida St., Kenton.

The Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance, Kenton Historic Courthouse District Committee and the Hardin County Ambassadors conducted a ribbon cutting ceremony at Kenton Wildcuts during its grand opening on Saturday, Sept. 17.
