The Hardin County Board of Elections will meet at 8 a.m. Tuesday, June 7 in its office at the Hardin County Courthouse to conduct a hearing to determine the eligibility of a petitioner to run as an independent candidate on the 2016 General Election ballot. The regular June board meeting will follow.

The Board of Directors of The Home Savings and Loan Company of Kenton, Ohio announced the rebranding of the bank. According to President-CEO-Director Chuck Dixon the bank will be branded as HSLC.

The Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance along with the Hardin County Ambassadors will conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony at Table One, 1 North Detroit St., Kenton, on Tuesday, June 7 at 11 a.m. Table One is a non-profit entity established for the betterment of the community.

Tractor Supply Company in Kenton will host local animal groups during an event Saturday, June 11 to encourage pet adoptions and support families raising pets and livestock. Local animal groups will setup at Tractor Supply as part of Purina Days, an in-store event June 8-19 that highlights pets and livestock and the tools needed to properly care for animals.

Hardin Memorial Hospital welcomes the primary care services of Katie Ball, certified physician assistant in conjunction with Paul Wesson, DO to the Forest Community Health Center.
