Judge rules man in Ada assault not guilty by reason of insanity An Ada man who fled from law enforcement and attacked a deputy’s vehicle in an incident last August was found not guilty by reason of insanity recently in the Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's office, John Wayne Denton, 417 Highland Ave., Ada, was charged with one charge each of vandalism, felonious assault, disrupting public services and possession of criminal tools. Paul Myers had brought legal action against the Alger Board of Public Affairs, the Hardin County Treasurer and Hardin County Auditor in which he claimed "fraudulent billing" for his water and sewer service. Kenton man sentenced to 33 months in prison on drug charges A Kenton man was sent to prison for a total of 33 months after he pleaded guilty to three drug-related charges in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records provided by Prosecutor Brad Bailey's office, Jason Michael Wyomic, 510 S. Leighton St., Kenton, was found guilty of two charges of possession of heroin and one count of trafficking in heroin. Read More
